Hey I was thinking.... Why not add a section on the site where visitors can contribute their own piece of knowledge about OGL. Something they have learned in their own workds. You neednt work on too much documentation because I think once a person has completed 20+ of your tutorials, he can very well understand OGL code without too much difficulty. One thing ive noticed is that when a person has just learned something, i can get clearer information from him than froma veteran author. So this could be more like a community contributing to the site rather than just one person toiling for everone else. People could post their own tuturials no matter how obfuscated their code is because they know how its done and I dont so it helps me(sentences are getting kinda funny ) I guess I might see a lot of tutorials on lightmaps and model loading and stuff in this approach. just a thought. been visiting this site nearly everyday for a few months and this site has a great knowledgeable community that can contribte a lot. getting too long <<''\0''

This is a very interesting idea. I believe you're thinking of something that is a bit in between a forum, a database, and a FAQ. We could call it an "interactive article repository" or something like that. I see it functioning a bit in this way:

Each article would start off with the Author's alias, the subject, and the article's description as entered by the author in the submission form. Each article would end with:

- This article has been approved by XXX (a moderator)
- Would you llike to comment on this article?
- Would you like to rate this article?

Ratings I believe should be more explicit than just numbers and averages. For example:

2 persons found this article incorrect
5 persons found this article confusing

This repository must be tightly linked to the forum, as users will come and go from one to the other. Each article should have a number that can be linked to from a forum post, and forum posts should be searchable by the same article search engine (a drop-down box in the search form that allows the user to choose between "search article repository" or "search forums" or "search both").

This seems quite do-able using a PERL database engine to start with.

Just a few ideas to be hammered out.

Why don''t we ask Nehe to put it up with the tutorial and message board links on his page? That way it would virtually be part of this page but someone else would upkeep it.
