Well, I''m working with Myopic Rhino to set up a site here on Gamedev. It will work something like this:

- Anyone can start a thread by posting a new tutorial, or piece of code. New threads will not be read through by anyone other than the author before it is posted, in effect something like the forums here.

- There may be multiple moderators. For now I''m the only one, but volunteers are appreciated.

- Moderators may remove and edit messages and entire threads. Basically, if a moderator feels a tutorial is confusing/incorrect etc. it may be removed.

- The site will be a part of GDNet, but in which degree the HTML-pages will be a "physical" part of the framework (i.e. being placed inside a content) I''m not certain yet.

- The site is not designed, but is being made as we speak (using the word "speak" in a loose sense, obviously), and a temporary front-end will probably be up by the end of the week.

- Rules for tutorials and posts are not made, and suggestions are more than welcome. My own take on this is as following:
-- No profanity. If you can''t say what you want to without cursing go somewhere else.
-- No personal attacks. Same as for profanity, really.
-- If a post is deemed entirely insuitable it should be remove by a moderator, leaving only a message stating the reason why it was removed. The original post should be saved somewhere for posterity.
-- If a tutorial is seen as promising, but incomplete/full of errors/full of misspellings etc. the author should be contacted and asked to edit the tutorial. *Unless the entire tutorial is fallacious a moderator should not directly edit a tutorial without express approval of the author*.
-- DO NOT POST A TUTORIAL CONTAINING SOURCE-CODE IF YOU DO NOT WANT OTHER PEOPLE TO USE YOUR CODE. This one really should go without saying, but it should be expressly stated (for legel purposes etc.).
Personally I''m of the opinion that all code posted should be considered GPL''d.

Well, that''s all I can think of for the moment.

Comments anyone?
