Greetings and salutations smile.png

Today has been quite good for me.
I have fully integrated Bullet physics cool.png

I've got half a level completed so far, And toned down the psychedelic colours a bit smile.png
Any feedback on the colour scheme?
Maybe I should create a seperete set of psychedelic textures that can be used.

So as it stands right now:

  • You play a beach ball( Courtesy of Stormynature for the idea, Thanks! )
  • You navigate the obstical course and collect some small cubes for some reason
  • There are cubes of varius weights randomly spawned in the level

    Tomorrows plan:

    • Finish the level
    • Add collectable cubes
    • Add some new levels
    • Add a GUI
    • remove all the __debugbreak (So I was lazy unsure.png ) calls and add in the missing error handling code in there place
    • Navigate the slightly insane sections of code( Like the level loading functions...unsure.png )
    • Use FMod for audio
    • Add SFX via FMod
    • Apply Maximum Polish[sup]TM[/sup]

      Nice additions:

      • Motion blue(doubtful)
      • Outline shader(Maybe)
      • Have the camera sit on a firm spring(doubtful)

So this is what the game looks like.

I am definetly looking forward to the resulting games from this jam, Good luck!
        That's all for now.

Wow yeah, that looks trippy, and that's toned down?

Possibly turn the cubes into psychedelic 6-sided dice that when rolled over add the top number (random 1-6) and add the score as a second form of scoring. Not suggesting it for this game version but a possible iteration of it down the road - you might even add in the multi-sided die like the Dungeons and dragons die i.e. 20-sided, 4-sided etc as a way of mixing it up and multiple possible paths. I could see this leading to a fun mobile game.
