We are pleased to announce the release of Matali Physics 6.7, the next significant step on the way to the seventh major version of the environment. Matali Physics 6.7 introduces a number of improvements and fixes to Matali Physics Core, Matali Render, Matali Content and Matali Games modules, presents underwater rendering with water surface split, fluid surfaces with volumes as well as fluid flow interaction.
What is Matali Physics?
Matali Physics is an advanced, modern, multi-platform, high-performance 3d physics environment intended for games, VR, AR, physics-based simulations and robotics. Matali Physics consists of the advanced 3d physics engine Matali Physics Core and other physics-driven modules that all together provide comprehensive simulation of physical phenomena and physics-based modeling of both real and imaginary objects.
What's new in version 6.7?
- Matali Games 6.7. The latest intermediate layer for Matali Physics environment provides improved physics-based character controller, interactive particles, switchable graphics presets, and more;
- Refreshed Matali Physics Game demo with fluid surfaces with volumes as well as fluid flow interaction. The introduced solutions enable the simulation of fluids on a large scale with various interactions between fluids and the environment, the simulation of a number of effects related to the fluid flow interaction, as well as the simulation of a number of special effects that can be based on fluids;
- Underwater rendering with water surface split as well as comprehensive support for the latest versions of supported platforms;
- Other improvements and fixes which complete list is available on the History webpage.
