I've made my first pass in my unofficial judging, but I haven't posted my results yet. I want to review them one last time and clean up some thoughts before I do.

I believe Team: hu3 team - rodolfodth, devn00b with their entry: Try, Die, Repeat will be my winners. The reason why I'm announcing this before I post my official unofficial judging is because one of the mini-prize choices expires soon. They'll get to choose between

Or this week's humble bundle (which expires in about 12 hours)

I've sent rodolfodth a message, so hopefully he'll get back to me with his decision.

Pre-congrats!

P.S. I hope I didn't make a typo in my spreadsheet. It was close! unsure.png

Part 2 of my postmortem is up, this time about the development of the game: finding the art style and dealing with the technical problems that cropped up.

Calling it short would be a lie bigger than part 2 of my postmortem.

Finally my post mortem for my game 'Death is Awesome' is out.

Find it here: http://darkdroidcom.blogspot.no/2015/08/woa-iii-death-is-awesome-post-mortem.html - beware, pretty long!

I was unable to make this game stay on screen for more than 2 seconds. The sound (whispering voices) plays but the game persistently minimizes itself over, and over, and over, and over... Does anyone else have this problem?
I relly want to play it, the intro screen (the whole 2 seconds of it) looked cool, and the sounds were promising.

Damn I was looking forward to finally having a review of my game. I haven't heard of this problem from anyone else that has played it (or in your case attempted to play it). I will have to do some research to find out what could possibly be the cause.

What resolution do you use? Do you have multiple monitors?

I have 3 monitors. They all use 1920x1200 resolution. Do you think it would help to disconnect a couple of monitors? Any ideas welcome.

I have 2 monitors and it worked fine but it might be worth a shot.

That is weird, I am running Windows 7 64 bit and 2 monitors at home. Well I can see this competition is going to be a disappointment if no one can play the f*cking game except those of us who created it.

XXChester, I was able to play all the games. You can see what I thought of it when I finally post my results.... NOW!

That took bloody forever. Thanks again to the judges who do this kind of thing for reals.

Please enjoy this distraction from waiting for the official results. Hopefully it won't make the wait even worse for you. :) There were a lot of great entries this year and you guys should be proud.

Leave a comment to let me know what you think of how I judged your game. Judge the judger!
