27 yrs old, never had, and it's very improbable that I'll ever have.

I seriously doubt its because I'm a game programmer(if I can call myself that, I'm just amateur) though, it's got to do with my looks and personality. Both not very girl-friendly :P

Glad to see so many gamedevvers have normal and happy love lives though!

Did you go to college?
Remember Codeka is my alternate account, just remember that!

Wondering, are you on the same page as far as religion goes?

I gotta say, I don't understand your line of questioning. What are you trying to find out, exactly?

As for me, happily married for the past 3 years.

My g.f is a game programmer. We can actually talk about work to each other without zoning out ;)
Married almost 10 years, 3 kids. I don't often game anymore, it kind of comes in waves. I'm trying to turn an idea that I've had for many years into a game though. That's why I'm here :)

I have a wife I've been married to for almost 13 years and I have two daughters. Up until recently my wife could barely launch a spreadsheet let alone play games.

She isn't a gamer and I usually play games when she is sleeping.

I currently don't have a girlfriend though and I blame it completely on my gaming habit and not the fact that I'm married :)

That's so wrong that I actually like it :)
[size="2"]I like the Walrus best.
I married my gf of over 10 years last august. She's not much into games (although I recently bought her a wii and she likes that).

As far as religion goes, I'm what you might call a "militant atheist" [wink] whereas she's "just not that religious, but still probably believes in god".

IMHO, women who aren't into games don't really care either way if you're a gamer, as long it doesn't rule your life. But that can be said of any hobby.
if you think programming is like sex, you probably haven't done much of either.-------------- - capn_midnight

The vast majority of people at my workplace are either in a relationship, engaged, or married. We're a medium sized game development company (around 70 employees, almost all male).

As for ME, I prefer being single. I had my fill of people nagging me to do stuff I didn't want to do when I was growing up (especially while I was busy learning how to program), and now that I live by myself, I love not having to deal with that anymore. Maybe I'll change my outlook eventually, but not anytime soon.

There's a problem with the original post. It's pretty much a survey which falls victim to self-selection bias.

I'll attempt to correct this.

I'm available!
OP, maybe this is your problem.
