I'm just beginning to program with D3DRM and I was using certain bitmaps as decals. I enabled alpha blending using the SetRenderMode function yet the decals still do not alpha blend... Do the bitmaps have to be in a certain format, or is the error in my code? I am currently using 24 bit bitmaps and I am wondering if I have to add an alpha channel or such into the bitmap.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
