Ah! I hate my 56k modem! Does anyone know if there''s going to be a CD release, or is there someone in England who''d sell be a CDR of it?
You can purchase an MSDN subscription, and they'll send you 40CD's with everything M$ does on them (including dx8).

Hehe, the VB SDK is only 15mb. That''s a bit nicer than last time when I downloaded the whole 150 odd mb on my 56k =)
So is it any good?

you can purchase the DirectX 8.0 SDK on CD... well, you can''t yet, but you will be able to soon. Just like with directx 7.0
it is not true that you have to be an msdn subscriber to get it on cd.

Does the C++ documentation come with the standard and C++ only SDK installations? Or do you have to download it seperately? And would there be any reason to install the normal SDK if I''m only going to use C++?
Also, should I install over my old DX7 SDK directory, and just use the new DirectX 8 library and include files, or should I keep them seperate and stuff?
