Hm, can''t you repair the zip to extract the remaining files ?
The only thing that can cause such corrupt files is when the system hangs and after a reboot one decides not to execute scandisk.
I''m just uploading the file to

(should be done 2 mins after this messages has arrived)
Hey, even here in germany I had around 6.5k/sec all the time (ISDN). Pretty fast server if it can handle that kind of overload

Grumble grumble....

For all those donwloading the file, use Gozilla or Getright, that way you won''t have problems with broken downloads.

Its about time they produced s C++ only doc. Last time I trie to print out the D3D7 doc I found that they had intertwined the C++ doc with VB. Have you ever tried to go into a college lab and print out a ~400 page document on the college''s paper? Suffice to say, the lab assistants don''t apreciate it. ;-) Half of that doc could be thrown away if all a person need is the C++ info.

It seems like 8 doesn''t mess with DX 7 code (at leaast not D3D) I had some code done with seven that worked just fine after installing 8. What I''m saying is no ruch to learn it, the old stuff still works, however, MS will be doing a new version of DX every year I think.

Hmm... strange... NONE of the D3D samples work.
They all give me the error:
Could not load required media.
Switching to the reference rasterizer, a software device that implements the entire Direct3D feature set, but runs very slowly.
[OK]
I click ok...
Could not load required media
The sample will now exit.
And what's even stranger, is i tried running one of the DX7 D3D samples, and it gave me an error that it coudn't load an X file. (and it uses to work..)
Anyone have any idea whats going on?
