I hate to say it but my most inspirational game came out only a few weeks ago

Neverwinter night has more power in its engine, depth, and representation with the knowledge it was given to work on that it very well may be the best game ever.

There are many others but NWN just stands out =)

at the beggining there was chaos...(read real-life(tm))
then castone capers (that''s the real name? don''t remember, it was so long ago) came with superb. graphics on my atari800XL
Closly followed by superb games like River Raid and International Karate and Boulderdash.
PC era started few years later with my AT16MHz (hd controller on motherboard! and you thought only new motherboards have it... I haven''t had a hd drive at the beggining, but that''s another story
So games that showed up - Test Drive I,II,III - really cool, esp III, spend endless hours beating my times over and over again or just going according to driving rules.. which was much mroe difficult
Stunts - another superb racing game
civilization, colonization, master of orion.. everyone knows those games, superb.
wolfenstein (yeah, first time I saw it it was like.. WOW), doom, quake I (didn''t like it at the beggining, preffered doom..,but once I learn how to use mouse control...
warcraft
quarantine
X-wing
Privater
Liero
