June 28th, 2019 marked the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, a moment that sparked the modern-day LGBTQ+ liberation movement. In honor of this historical turning point, agency AKQA NYC used 8th Wall to create a Web AR experience that brings the story of Pride to life.

The Web AR experience is narrated by Gerald Busby who witnessed the movement firsthand. He highlights key milestones of each decade, which are each represented by colorful characters in protest.
