Weekend Reading: Tales from Journal Land

So first it was Hurricane Sandy. That swept through and knocked out my power for 8 days - I even lost cell service for 4. Then, the day after power returned we had another storm sweep through that dumped 6" of heavy wet snow with high winds and took out our power again - thankfully less than a day. But still, it's been pretty rough around here near the Jersey Shore the last two weeks! Things are finally starting to return to normal, for me at least, so here's the past week of journal entries. Hopefully you've been keeping up with your favorites while I've been incapacitated smile.png

  • Black-Rook's Journal logo+%20bullet.png - Black-Rook updates on his latest completed task for his classic RPG project and shows off the resulting HUD
  • Lotus - Indie Rpg Engine - Arthur Souza has a minor update to the project he uploaded that contains a small prototype to test out his game engine. You can download it to check it out and give him some feedback

  • /* Why you crying? */ - JTippetts decided to whip up a Breakout clone for fun using Lua and Love2D so if you're into similar language/library you can download the source code to check it out
