- An Engine Through Time and Space - Aressera talks about the audio library he's been working on lately: "While implementing an interface to Apple's Core Audio device system was fairly painless and robust, using WASAPI on windows has been painful."
- 2D Game Making, the Easy Way - BeerNutts has a brief video for Attack and Defend

- Trapper Zoid has been working on a "retro-sounding software audio system" using Allegro 5 and is basing it off the Texas Instruments SN76489 sound chip. He also has some sample audio files generated with the system.
- Archer Alec Devlog - HabitueGames has an overview sketch of the world map (which is also the level select inteface) as well as some new sprites and a new in game screenshot from Archer Alec
- Gnoblins - Development journal of an indie game - Ashaman73 has created a video to help you survive the first half hour of Gnoblins, because it sounds like too many people were dying in the first week of the closed alpha. Fortunately Demon's Souls has shown us all that a game that kills the player a lot isn't necessarily a bad one
- Bluefirehawk's: "Project Phoenix" - Bluefirehawk gives an overview of the gameplay to be found in his multiplayer game Project: Phoenix
- RuinValor - Birth of Talos - riuthamus has been busy with updates to RuinValor including weird glitches, FXAA and simple/dynamic shadows, terrain editing and crafting - they have also posted the first video of a test character in the game.
- Coding In Transit - Dancin_Fool has details from another 2-week sprint in which he continued work on his UI engine, focusing mainly on an asset viewer
- Journal of Aardvajk - Aardvajk has new screenshots and information on progress to his 3D modeler Opus, focusing on the new scripting ability with this recent entry and talking about more new features in future entries
- nighttime development - AlexF has some practical examples to show as he talks more about manipulating L-Systems to create a street network for his procedural project that aims to create a modern day city

- SIC Games has been working hard on the engine behind their project, with a video stressing the polygon count and troubles with collision detection among several posts this past week or two
- uwi2k2 - Part Time Game Dev - uwi2k2 has opened up a crowdfunding page for their project Elefant Gay League

[nbsp]- r1ckparker's Journal - r1ckparker takes a brief moment to acknowledge the difficulty inherent in balancing an RPG game as well as dealing with spreadsheets to help achieve this purpose. He also quickly lists some observations he has made so far in designing his RPG project
- OddGames development journal - O-san shares a Blender tool he discovered that lets you shape models as if from clay similar to tools like Sculptris

- Trapper Zoid has found Allegro 5's audio system wanting when looking to create some "retro-sounding bleeps" but has found PortAudio to be a sufficient audio library, though only limited to that on its own

His first video was about his personal path to becoming a game developer, sharing what he feels is neccessary based on his own experience and the second video has him talking about what he defines as "game success"
