On my PPRO 233, I get around 28-30 fps. I am running with the debug directx libraries so this probably makes a difference.
Looks like you''ve got a nice start to your iso engine!

Test my iso engine?
A steady 64 fps on my k6-2 300, voodoo3 3000, 128MB ram
Looks great, but I get some funky action from the cursor But I bet thats just not finished yet.

Just because the church was wrong doesn't mean Galileo wasn't a heretic. It just means he was a heretic who was right.
I get 56-57 fps on my PIII600 32MB TNT2 card and 128 MB RAM. I''d like to see it again once you''ve added sprites.

On my PIII-450 with 128 RAM Voodoo Banshee 16MB it ran at 99 without dipping once. I assume 99 is the max? Anyway, really cool engine, if you ever release the source I may want to take a look at it, maybe turn it into a SimCity type game (maybe futuristic, though). Nice work.

Cool Engine. I got 73 Fps on my computer. It''s a Dual P3 450 64 MB and a Viper v770 Ultra. I''m running Win98 so only one cpu is running for now. Gonna soon try it with Win 2000 to see how it is with both.
I only get 15fps on my wimpy 150MHz Pentium MMX Portable Computer (RAM: 40MB, VIDEO: NeoMagic 128).
Amazon babes are cool.

PIII-600, 512MB (YES 512 MEGABYTES), GEFORCE 256, WIN98 AND IM GETTING CONSTANT 74 FPS (HOW THE HELL??????!!!!!)
Wow, that''s impressive especially considering it is only a week''s worth of work. I have a PII 350 96meg and Voodoo2 card and I am getting 82-85 fps. Nice work!

Anyone have a clue as to why there is such a difference in frame rates (lower end machines getting better frame rates than higher end machines)?

Read my post above about monitor refresh rates. I suspect this is the reason.
