There are so many games! I see toys... everywhere!

@Slicer, is it only when the full 170 reviews are complete that any points and notes will be placed? Also, can you give me that link again to last years awarded points/critiques so i can see what was said to the participants?

yes, once all 170(alternatively so long as 3 judges have completed by the end of the two weeks) then they will all be released.

as for critiques, only the final scores were released last year: http://www.gamedev.net/topic/646780-the-week-of-awesome-unofficial-gdnet-competition/?view=findpost&p=5093184
This is one thing i set out to change for this year's competition, as such I was only a contestant last year, but i did critique most entry's here: http://www.gamedev.net/blog/1587/entry-2258640-week-of-awesome-my-game-reviews/

you can expect a similar level of critiquing once all judges have finished.

I'll admit that the critiques are something that I'm especially looking forward to, both in praise and criticism, and both of my own work and that of others: such feedback is something that I both feel to be very useful and find rather interesting.

They're so judgemental. :P

Not bad! That puts us at just under a third of the way to completion, it would seem. ^_^

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Looking forward to it! Will that be a critique from each judge or a single critique from yourself as last year?

I can't speak for each of the judge's, I don't know to what extent they have written about each of your games, i can guarantee a similar level of critique from me as there was last year, and i can tell you that you'll have each judge's individual category scores. However beyond that i won't make any guarantee's at this stage.

I actually started out as a LOT MORE wordy than Slicer's reviews, but I had to diminish my rants for the sake of velocity.

I'll have comments for each entry, though I tend to focus on the 'bad' (aka, how to make it better).

Hopefully I won't be too full of myself :)
