The Week of awesome II - The judge Thread!
In advance of the results I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Judges for carrying out what can be a very thankless task and to the participants...well done.
*cough* kissass *cough* I mean.... yeah GOOD JOB JUDGES!
On a serious note, I was a judge for one of the competitions in the past and it sucks. I very much appreciate the time and effort put forth to making this happen.
I too would like to take a moment to extend some thanks and appreciation to the judges for their time and effort in grading our entries over the past couple of weeks, to the prize contributors for their impressive generosity and also to Slicer for orchestrating the whole thing and maintaining solid comms at every step.
If a judge is MIA then here's hoping it is the result of a busy social life and not some kind of personal emergency.
Good luck fellow contestants!
Edit: Slicer, if by any chance you were feeling left out of all the post-mortem authoring going around, I for one would be interested to read about the running of the competition from your perspective, lessons learned, etc. No pressure though, seriously.

Well said!
Yes thank you to all the judges especially for slicy!
This has been a great experience and I will most definitely repeat the experience next year if the timing is right!
Ditto to all. This was a great competition. I hope to be able to do it again next year.
Indeed, thank you to all of the judges for the time and effort put into the competition and into judging our entries--I imagine that it takes quite a bit of time and energy to play through, score and then write a response to so many games, even short ones.
(And as dmatter said, I do hope that the cause of the missing judge is nothing too untoward. :/)

This seems as though it could be interesting indeed.

Sorry if this has already been brought up in the thread, but I didn't see if anyone had a list of the games that are not included in the download.
Just in case someone ( ) wants to make sure they don't miss any.

That's a really good idea, I know there are ones I'm missing too...
I just went through the first post of this thread and these are the web links I found for ones that aren't in the archive (including my own):
