How do you come to that conclusion? Choice is a very, very generic description which covers a lot more ground than life does. If they were called pro-choice-for-abortions, then I would agree with you. Just as pro-life defines their platform around a specific set of life, pro-choice defines their platform around the choice to have an abortion. Both are more narrow in scope than their name implies.

I dislike the pro-life crowd as much as the next rational liberal, those who choose to firebomb abortion clinics, and harass young women who are visiting those clinics. Especially those who have not adopted any children. If they cared so much about those fetuses going full term, they should be providing a better life for those who are under state care. I agree that most pro-lifers are hypocrites, just not for the same reason you do.

no birth == end of homo sapiens! can't believe most people voted for abortion (what choice did they have?). yet, the world is getting crowded so go for it and bring some sort of chinese law upon us all! and let the rich guys have as many kids as they want!
