Hi everyone, We're getting a new puppy tomorrow, a Doberman Pinscher, and we can't think of a good name. I know naming an animal is easier to do when you can see/spend time with it, so this might not work very well, but do any of you have any good ideas for names?

Pooch?

How about something like "sit". Then you could confuse the poor dog by saying things like "Come here! Sit! Come sit! Stay sit! Good sit!".
How about "Roofus"?

Or something more unique, like computer-science terminology, such as: "Buffer," "Stack," "Heap," "LIFO," "FILO," "FIFO," ...
I'm partial to Dogmeat.

I tried to name our dog "Ein" (pronounce like "àin"), like the dog from the Cowboy Bebop series, but my lil' brother overruled me with a more traditional (Dutch) dog name, "Sem".
I still think "Ein" is a cool name though.

STOP THE PLANET!! I WANT TO GET OFF!!
I'd probably call him Dog. I mean, we have a bird named Bird. It's just easier that way :P

Einstein is much better :D
i plan on calling my future dog "madness" then when kids say

"can i play with madness?"

i will look and laugh at them then shout

"no, your too blind, too blind to see!!"
