I''m working on writing a game in the style of Dragon Warrior or Final Fantasy1. Top-down tile based. However I''m hitting alot of blocks, it''s much different than writing a side scroller. Question is.. are there any open source games of this type that I could read for reference? Or am I on my own figuring this out.
