Who is gonna take part in the iso contest?
Who is gonna take part in the iso contest?
Who is interested to?
I also want to ask TAN(i don''t want to bother with e-mails) a question:
Can my entry be in Visual Basic?
If not should i just enter with the executable?
Thanks.

Here these words vilifiers and pretenders, please let me die in solitude...
I can't enter the contest because I don't have time.

I'm thinking about entering. But I'm afraid I won't make it untill decemer the first - unless I find an artist who's willing to make all graphics..or perhaps a partner to work with. Ah, well.
Drop me a note if you're interested, gimaker@xpress.se

I would really like to try and enter the contest. However, I suffer from the problems as many other people suffer. As The_C_Guy states it:

I''m gonna try, but I''m not going to make it a priority. Good luck to everyone else who can make the deadline!

using VB is fine. my early isometric code was all in VB.
for that matter, using Delphi or BCB is find, too. the main requirement is that the code has to be for WIN32(sorry java people) and has to be isometric or hexagonal. other than that, the language used is not important.
i have vb6, so i can make up something with the setup wizard for the CD.

Get off my lawn!
no java?
i thought about making something, because the deadline is really far off on this one, giving plenty of time to learn how to do this stuff and put together something cooL.
i was thinking of making an engine/library, simple demo w/c++ src, and level editor using D3D 8. but that doesn't mean i'm going to.

You can defenately count me in, and I will win. My game is basically already completed. I am just starting to put in multiplayer now and just got photoshop so I can make my own really nice graphics.
So if your gonna enter you have your work cut out for you, because I AM GONNA KICK ALL YOUR ASSES.
