I like that idea about when you die being able to "rewind" as far as you want. That could be fun, because you could be totally reckless in the game. Some of us don''t like sneaking games all that much (too much effort, not enough fun) and just want to bust in guns blazing all the time. Rewinding would be more fun than quicksaving before every room/corner.

Playing a game in reverse would just be odd though.

There was a whole thread recently about Reverse Chronology in Games. I started it I believe, but there were a lot of great ideas presented. Maybe I''ll go back a couple weeks and bump it so that you can get some ideas on implementing something like this more naturally..
