Current Project everyone?
I''m starting on an RTS... I don''t have many details atm, but I hope to know if it will be in 2d or 3d in a couple weeks. Either way, I''m working on an object editor in MFC while I learn a few more skills (like all of D3D. it''s not that hard for the basic stuff, just need to learn some more). The object editor is coming along pretty good. You can almost completely make a unit now, all it''s lacking is the way to load the images to be used in-game. I''ll do that at the end after I finish with the building part of the editor (that I''m gonna start on in a few days after a couple minor details in the unit editor are done)

I just started working on a 2d arcade game along the lines of the old game Omega Race. I have been wanting to make this game since I got into programming like 3 years ago. Now I think I finnally have the skills and a method to organize the code and everything so that I can actually do it. Hopefully I will see the project through this time, but things are going well so far.
Me, I''m my current project is mustering the determination to actually finish the first section of Game Programming All-In-One I set some milestones but they somehow dissappeared.
Having decided to actually finish a project for once.. I'm taking up a turned based Risk type game to give my graphics engine a lil test drive.

A 3D Engine, for use in a few upcoming games I (and some friends) had the idea of... This includes a first-person shooter (albeit a basic one), a 3D asteroids-like game, and a real-time strategy game.

I’m working on a science fiction 3D RTS game.
The cool thing about it is that it''s a combination of turn based strategy and real time strategy games. It will be played in 2 modes: Strategic and Tactical. In Strategic mode, the gameplay sort of resembles most TBS games, like Civilization and Alpha Centauri. It focuses on macro-management of the empire. The 2nd mode is the Tactical mode, it allows player to zoom in on part of the map and micromanage battles, like in Master of Orion 2.
The game will also have these features:
1) Customizable units. A soldier will be a generic unit that can be assigned to control vehicle or given hand weapons. And when they kill enemy soldiers they can pick up enemy weapons and ammo.
2) Mutually exclusive combat advantages, so there’s no “the best” unit, every unit has a weak point.
3) Units require fuel and ammo supplies. It adds another angle to overall game strategy, players won’t be able to send units half way across the map without establishing supply lines.
4) Railroad units! I always wanted to play an RTS where player can build railroad tracks and various train car units.
5) Big emphasis on stealth and spy strategies, so just cause the enemy has more units doesn’t mean they gonna win.

Right now Im working on a MMRPG with what i consider to be a pretty innovative combat system based loosley on fallout. The combat is going to be very strategic so every player and class has a balanced way to use there skills (A warrior player cant kill a mage player while the player is trying to aim his spell so it wont blow up his allies) We will also hopefully have a developed economy with losts of different jobs for the player.
A futureistic console style RPG. It''s sort of a cross between Gundam and Bladerunner with a strong influence from an older Shirow manga titled Appleseed. With 2D 8-bit color graphics running in 640X480, obviously the emphesis is on gameplay and story over graphical presentation
