I am currently writing a Manic Minor clone. People from the UK will know what that is.

Heh ... wouldn''t mind seeing that Manic Miner clone
when it''s finished - been ages since I''ve seen/played
the original. Fantastic game that it was =)

I''m working on a gryzor/metal-slug game. It''s gonna be very special since you will have to fight those critters (characters from kid movies) :

- smurfs
- snorkies

You will also beat some famous video game heroes like "Mariau" and "Laura craft" (i know this is not the right spelling but there are copyrights).

Check it some screenshots on : http://perso.wanadoo.fr/loaded/

Hi, my nickname is firestorm, i''m not registered yet, so i''ll just put my name here ;o)

I''m working together with 2 other programmers on a 3d engine and it''s tools..
Since we basically haven''t agreed on gameplay (or even type of game) we''re currently emphasising our efforts on the tools... so that when we start on the actual game, we''ll be able to put it together in no time.
The tools are made with uGLi which is our own openGL based user interface (we''ll probably make it opensource, just like we did with md3view)
Some of the key features of our engine are:
Curved surfaces, indoor/outdoor rendering, realtime view dependent LOD for terrain, portal rendering for indoors, realtime inverse kinetics & bone based animations for models, pretty advanced physics (incl. angular velocity),
shaders (like q3a), scripting language which is converted into assembly at runtime instead of interpreting it (but we might change this because we''re worried about security issues)

Hehehe, but we really need a concept for our game
..and we''re not satisfied with making yet another clone of an already existing game
