Just a thought, but does anybody remember the old BBS door game BRE? I''d like to get a copy, and do a remake of it, with a different name of course , and a nice GUI...
Also, Taipae is another game I''ve thought of cloning. Unfortunately, I never seem to get the time, and they''ve upgraded compiler versions on me now (I only have VC5!)
Has anybody else tried similar projects?
Barron Realms Elite?

there''s a game on the net that is an evolved form of BRE. solaris started it up and since then the game has been bought by a few other company''s.. but the original scripts for it were made by the same gentlemen who made the classic BBS game BRE.

BRE was cool, but I rather liked S.E.E., Space Empire Elite, which BRE was based on.
I think it would be awesome to code one of these and make it an internet game. There would have to be some updating on the concept, as the old game could only have one person playing at a time. And a GUI would be required. Players today don''t seem to want to do more reading than they are required to do.
