i was wondering if there is a choice application for designing 3d environments for games. i know it all depends on he user and how s/he likes their software to perform, but i am somewhat new to the idea. i was considering 3ds max at first, but read somewhere that it was best with character modeling as opposed to 3d environments. thanx

I think there''s a 3DS software that do that, Character Studio I think but its separate from 3DS MAx.
