I finally put the rocket in the board!!!

Time for the 3AM Roundup!  What was I doing all evening??.. hmm..

So, finally, these RocketBoards are ROCKETBoards!  No more put-put'n around on the ground, no no no!

I've completed the currency circle and now you can exchange your shiny golden rings for some airBoost Fuel! 

1ring = 1 second of fuel.  You can hold 100 seconds worth at a time, recharge whenever by clicking on the Rocket Shop menu item!(even while playing) :D  This allows you to use your rocket thrusters while in the air, like every true RocketBoard should do.  So, now instead of a few hundred meters on a jump from the plateau, I'm reaching 1000+ on a straight shot with lots of speed.  It's so much fun.  The race courses are a whole other experience like this.  (Still no npcs to race with yet, it's next I swear!!)

I've also put some significant work into more/better sound effects, spent some time in Audacity making some permanent remixes since I'm having trouble with applying effects in Unity, this way should be better for performance anyhow. ;)

Also spent several hours on the UI, fixing things up and making them nicer to look at(hopefully).. haha

What else, mmm.. airBoost rockets, UI upgrades, Rocket Shop menu...

Testing the last build... fingers crossed!!!!

Finally got around to playing it. I liked the exciter graphics. I couldn't get the rockets to work. The tracks worked great this time.

The airboost rockets are automatic as long as you are off the ground and have the forward or back keys pressed.  They don't let you gain altitude so you might not notice them until you run out of fuel, but then it's pretty obvious. ;)  Also, if you by chance used the touch interface, I haven't added buttons for the airboost yet.. gotta get on that.

I played a bit today! Bit under the weather... lol Hard to keep my eyes open. I noticed the NPCs race against me now, very cool! I like the rocket stuff too! :)

I'm not sure but I noticed you can click and drag the fuel meter with your mouse. Not sure if intended.

Looking good, and I like the improvements. :) I still hold the record for Air Time :D

I had no idea you could click and drag, ... yup, forgot to uncheck "interactable".. Nice catch!  I might never have noticed.  It shouldn't have given you more fuel though, that's just display data...hmm  lol

Yes!  The npcs are pretty fun, they take a very specific tuning to get them from point a to z, but it seems to work out so far.

I'm in the middle of frame debugging and optimizing textures/etc.. bleh..  It will look just a bit different after this, but it should play real smooth.

Sorry, I might be confusing you. I didn't get extra fuel, I just noticed you can drag the green bar to full and empty, but it doesn't affect the fuel count. Yea.. I tend to click everything and toy around a lot, finding such things by random... :D lol!
