Another Multi-Monitor Debugging Question

I am probably going to get another video card to set up multiple monitor debugging pretty soon, and I had a few questions that the DXSDK didn''t seem to answer. First of all, in order to use MM debugging, do I have to be using the structures from DirectX 7 (or 6, or whichever version started the MM support)? Or do I just have to be using those DLLs? Also, is there anything special I have to do in terms of setting up DirectDraw that will let me use MM debugging? Or can I just leave my code as is, and it will work properly if I have it enabled in the control panel? It seems to me that I should be able to enable the MultiMonitor Debugging from the DirectDraw page of the DirectX options in the control panel and it will work, but I know that nothing is ever that simple... Any help is appreciated. If this is in the SDK, and I just didn''t see it, then where is it? There''s a MM debugging routine tutorial in the Programming section of gamedev.net

The only article I could find dealt with monochrome monitor debugging, I''m talking about using 2 VGA cards, and the VC++ Debugger.
