Dang, must be time for me to get a new G-Card.
I got 55 fps on a 450MHz AMD K6 2 w/ 128 RAM and an Intel Express 3d G-Card that I bought in 98.

actually that''s not a stupid question, how did your get your fps? are you doing it correctly, because i''ve never seen something report fps so high.
by the way, i got about 325 fps, Pentium II 266, voodoo 3 2000.

Hi, I'm the one who asked about how you got the FPS. I thought I should clarify what I said, did you calc your fps right? I only say that because it seems so inconsistent with everyone else's results.

HI. I ran the engine on my system and got 80-90 fps.

Hello.
I got an average FPS of about 300, although it fluctuated by about 30 FPS either direction. I''m running a 450 Mhz Intel P2 with 128 megabytes of RAM. I also have an Nvidia Riva TNT display adapter with updated drivers from 11 - 9 - 99. Hope this helps you out.

Nice, I get about 480fps (around there). Celeron 500MHZ (overclocked), 128mb ram, TNT2 Ultra 32mb.

you wonder why this runs fast? well, for one, all it''s doing is drawing sprites. anyone can draw sprites at insane speeds. where''s the interface? the artificial intelligence? the pathfinding? the audio? the special effects?
this has no bells and whistles - it''s the equivalent of having a flatshaded 3d spinning cube. whoop-dee-doo.
