A 2D RPG Maker, for those old-school SNES-style RPGs, except this time they have some neat effects and much better graphics.

a simple, yet surprisingly addictive 2D vertical scroller. I''ve got most of the engine working, just need to implement more enemies, levels, etc.

The Micro$oft has you... Follow the black penguin...

a "5-minuter" (like Chicken or Quadnet [GL_YUMMY] ). i think i''m gonna call it Torus, my first 3D olg project. very raw and basic as of yet, hence no details. see AfTeRmAtH''s post for more details (grin)
"Literally, it means that Bob is everything you can think of, but not dead; i.e., Bob is a purple-spotted, yellow-striped bumblebee/dragon/pterodactyl hybrid with a voracious addiction to Twix candy bars, but not dead."- kSquared
Currently I''m working on a demo engine which is intended to be the last demo-engine of mine.(plugin system+scripting) It''s almost ready it needs just some last rewrites and the demo making can begin!

Sorry, I just have to chuckle a little every time I see the words "Old-School" and "SNES" in the same sentence. I can''t even remember the name of the first console I had but I can tell you it was a little box than had about 20 versions of pong.

Of course, to me, the classic days will always be the old Atari 2600 years.

I''m working on a 3D engine for my game called "GP3d" which is a transition of the old Amiga classic - Gravity Power - (or Gravity Force 2 with extras!) into a 3d world. I don''t know how it''ll fare in this environment but it''s good practice for me to start making 3d games.

I think I''m gonna go work on a shoot ''em up scroller just like Tyrian or Raptor... only in 3D OpenGL (top down). I don''t know yet, still working on my little engine. Got MD2 and MS3D model loading thanks to ShiningKnight''s (sp?) code.

I''d like to create a game but I really don''t know what kind of so I started to create a platform for simple games based on opengl. It is a layer between app and system, Win32 and Linux Just to shortly explain: The entry point for apps is main2(). The library calls main2() when OpenGL and the whole system is initialized to run 2d/3d OpenGL based simple games or other apps. It has simple event handler for mouse and keyboard and gui in future too.
ops

seems I forgot the http://.... always seem to do that

I know the car flips quite a bit... but getting the wheel friction levels for all 3 axis per wheel bang on is tough..

and when you have a virtual car that can get to 100km/h in 4 seconds, it does tend to spin out a tad

but nice to know you liked it cobra
