I need to make a table that will hold all of my texture files. All the texture files are of the same dimension and I want the table boarder thickness to be one pixle. I then what to save the table and all the textures in a single bmp file. This must be done in either photoshop of adobe illustrator. Does anyone know how to create a table using these tools?? Thanks, Cenedra
you can probably just use photoshop's "web photo gallary" feature. This creates html pages with thumbnails that are generated automatically. Just put all your textures into one folder. Then in photoshop go to "file" "automate" and then "web photo gallery". Set up how you want it to output and there you go.

The photoshop web gallery was not really what I was looking for. I need to make a 64 pixle by 64 pixle cells within a table with a one pixle boarder. The table the has to be saved as a bmp.

The programs that I am trying to make the table in is either photoshop or adobe illustrator. The table needs to hold texture files that I have made in photoshop.

Thankyou for the help though.

god...that would be so easy to program in vb....pity i dont got vb at home [twas in college].....u would probably be better of just doing it manually as long as it aint to many textures...
copy and paste them into one big picture as separate layers...fill the blackground layer neon pink or some colour distinguishable from most of the textures then use the move tool and just aligh each layer containing a separate texture so that there is a one pixel border round each....

very tedious i know....but easily done....if you are planning to do thousands of textures and not hundreds i would suggest enlisting a vb programmer.....exchange your grafix skills for the program as the program can be made in mere minutes
well an easy way to do this then would be to create a 64 square box with the top and left 1 pixel border on it (not the bottom or right though). Select this and define it as a pattern in photoshop. then go to "edit" "fill" and select your pattern.
