I''ve been a graphic designer for around 6 years now and would like to find out more about getting into designing for games on the gameboy. Just wondered if anyone had any tips, ie, what programmes are best to use, technical specifications etc that might be helpful to me when trying to get a portfolio together? Thanks in advance!

I can tell you a few specs. for the Gameboy Advance.

There are 6 graphic-modes, 3 are normal (plot pixel modes) and 3 sprite-modes. Resolution is normally 240*160 with 256 colors in normal modes and 16 or 256 palette-color entrys in sprite-mode. The sprites are 8*8 but that can differ.

Thats all i can remember now, take a look at www.gdadev.org

Thanks for the quick response!

I''ll check out the link you sent (which for anyone else is actually www.gbadev.org) for more info.

Thanks again HAWKey, and any other useful tips will be much appreciated.
