What the hell are muls? Oh, by the way, does anybody know where to get FREE debugger which measures how long does a line of code take to execute?

muls probably refers to multiplications, or many mul asm opcodes, where mul also means multiply.

Most compilers have a profile button that will tell you the execution speeds of each of you functions, and much more info.
