Isn't blender is good for texturing?

PixaFlux isn't bad, you just need to understand the math behind textures to use it.

I have Substance Designer. It works the same as it uses math to create textures.

I work as a 3D modeler, so learning to use software like that was part of my job. PixaFlux is good but if you don't understand how textures work you will have a hard time using it. It's also harder to learn texturing when you start by thinking of textures as math, so it isn't the kind of software I would recommend to a person new to texturing.

PixaFlux is a good free alternative to Substance Designer. It's not beginner software and is for artist more than developers.
