[Insert angry rant at not getting a good place here]

Wow, thanks for the detailed reviews and congrats to the winners :)

I'm really happy with my 2nd place (how could you not be?), thanks to the other entrants and especially the judging team.

It was a great competition!

Alas, I wanted to check all other games but didn't really get around to much... (another competition currently running)

Congratulations to the well deserving winners! A little disappointed by my own placement but I will read your comments carefully and fix the issues you had.

Thanks to slicer, the judges and the sponsors.

Hello to all my stalkers.

Congratulations to the winners and a warm handshake to all the participants ! smile.png

Big thanks to slicer4ever, the sponsors and all the judges.

First I was disappointed with my placement but after reading the judges' comments I understood better my mistakes and I will learn from them smile.png.

I hope I can come back next year, but as a little sponsor biggrin.png.

I'm surprised I came in fourth, when I saw Try.Die.Repeat and Bunny Hop I thought many more games that of that quality were cooking behind the scenes. Not that I'm complaining or anything smile.png

Congratulations to rodolfodth, devn00b, DifferentName, Endurion and Thaumaturge, all of your games are very fun to play. I'm currently showing them to my friends.

...but unfortunately a bug cropped up that left me unable to leave the room(each time i left it kicked me right back in). I wanted to explore and see if there were other hidden lives i had missed, but i decided to call it quits when i hit this bug as i'd already spent a lot of time in the game.

Darn, I was hoping nobody would find that bug. I discovered it a day after the contest had ended, and unfortunately the bug only seems to occur on the executable build with PyInstaller. This makes debugging really tedious.

...and wanting more levels smile.png

Heh, that's what I get for making the levels too late. The tutorial level was done during the entire week, but the last levels were only created in the last day of the competition. Well, that's something I should keep in mind when participating in competitions like this from now on.

Thanks to the judges for giving Lich 3rd place, and Congratulations to the other winners! I'll be continuing work on Lich, and will update my journal as a Dev Log.

Radiant Verge is a Turn-Based Tactical RPG where your movement determines which abilities you can use.

great to hear DN!!!

As for our reviewers reward. I'd like to thank both Eck and DKoding for entering. both did an amazing job! However I must pick one of you to receive the reward, and after consideration, I have deceided that Eck will receive the 100$ However, since DKoding did such a great job, I will add a 2nd prize to the pool and award him 50$ for his work! Thank you to both of you for giving feedback to the contestants, and I will contact you both shortly.
