----from GameWriting----- I''ve this game idea where people play as one of this animal in its daily life. a) the leopard b) the cheetah c) the jaguar this story evokes around the life of one of these animal. I specificly selected these cats because firstly, all of thes cats a medium in size so they can be killed by larger animals or predators. Second, all of them have their own special capabilites and disadvantages. For example, the cheetah is the fastest land animal but only can run superfast for a short distance because of lack of stamina and too much body heat. The game''s view is like every normal shooter (hal-life, quake) except that instead of seeing your gun/weapon, the most you see is your character''s feet(sometimes). The game will be in 3D so i hope to get a major game company to develop it(i''m make a trailer of the game) In game features..... ---------------------- Weather. the game will have rain, drought, famine and other seasons. Humans There will also be tribes in the game. some tribes worship the leopard some hate, some like the cheetah some hate........ There are also modern humans like scientist, tourist, poachers... Injury, stamina, hunger. players can also get injured, tired or hungry Injury- Just say u fall from a broken branch and fall on your legs. So you injure on of your legs. it will take time to heal. providing enough food and rest will also help. Stamina- the stamina shows you how tired your animal is. the lower the more tired your animal is. Drinking water can help replenish some stamina. When its in its mid-ages and teens it has the most stamina. Hunger- Your animal needs to eat everyday. There are a few ways to find food. it can hunt prey or it can scavage for foodfrom fresh courpses. But if it eats too much it will become overweight and will be slower and less fit(making it more prone to injury) Mating..... The fun part.... If your character is a male, you''ll have to find your mate during the mating seasonto mate. you will also have to impress her. And if your character is a female, just live and wait till a male arrives. Scenarios there will be long scenarios as well. Like surviving for 2 years during the african nations war. stuff like that. Happiness Your character will also have a happiness bar. Its willl display whether your character is happy or not. If your character is still young, playing with a rodent(torturing it) before eating it will satisfy but when your big, kill most of the time will do.Leopards eats: small birds, eggs, small apes, deers(gazettes, impalas etc.) fresh dead corpes, rodents. predators: lions, big snakes, crocs, wild dogs, hyenas, lives: middle-soutern africa. skills: climbs tressthe best out of the 3 can drag dead prey up trees runs second fastest behind cheetah sense of... smell: the best sight: good hearing: good Cheetahs eats: small birds, rodents, deers, fresh dead corpes. predators: lions, big snakes, crocs, wild dogs, hyenas lives: northern-soutern africa. skills: climbs trees the 3rd best out of 3 can drag dead prey up trees runs fastest sense of... smell: good sight: good hearing: best Jaguar: eats: small birds, fish, deers, rodents, eggs. Why would I actually want to play this game? What would I do that would be fascinating enough to keep drawing me back for more? What objectives and goals beyond hunt-kill-eat-drink-sleep-mate (occasionally)-lather-rinse-repeat would I have, and in what ways could I achieve them?

So far you don''t have a game, you have a wildlife simulation.

Also, First Person perspective would be pretty hindering in this game, given that the loss of peripheral vision may lead to being more easily attacked (and killed) by predators. Go for an over-the-shoulder (Tomb Raider-esque) view instead.

i agree. plus, with an over-the-shoulder view, you can see the cats running and jumping and whatnot (which, while normally boring, could look pretty cool because of the way cats move; i can see him crouched, ready to pounce).
