.....Guess I''m the only one who likes to make 2d gfx....ack...well...all I got to say is...*cares more for gameplay and length then gfx* :-P
These are pretty old, for I have been working on my programming skils not gfx ;-) From a project I was working on using the "graal" game engine...it was called Murasamune.

hey FANTASY EDGE: nice sketches bro... i like the style. post some more up here if you ever draw anything sometime soon.
Fantasy Edge: Looking good! One detail, though... the human female''s hips are generally wider than her shoulders!
oh,i know that quite well. not everything i do gets most of my attention though. i get bored sometimes and just kindof get lazy with drawings. that one was a quickish one so it didnt really deserve to get posted.
i think i got it right here, this was a quickish one too.

I really need to fix the texturing but its not bad for a first attempt with Milkshape texturing.
EDIT - Retarded Brinkster won't let me link directly to a picture so you will just have to copy it into your browser. Grrr!

Ok this question is mainly directed at Fantasy Edge and Eudaimic but if you feel like it you could reply to it too. Do you scan your images, such as you draw them onto paper or canvas do you scan them into the computer? If so how do you make your lines stay like pencil lines because whenever I scan my images the lines go from pencil lines to just a thick black or gray line? The scaners that I''m using are a HP scaner from the ScanJet family and a Scansoft 3300 scaner.

when you scan, make sure that you are scanning with the highest color value available (such as trucolor... anything over 256 color pallete...)
I scan in 300 ppi at 32 bit color. then it goes staight to photshop to make it smaller. i lower the 300 res to 100 and it looks fine.
Thanks for the replies!
