What's the most important part of a game?

1,3,4,6,7,8: Mainly, I want to see a normal price multi-player, nice graphic game. A good name Brand and Rateing help alot too.
3 & 5 are all that matter, the rest are frills... i mean, it is 2001, and i still would rather have a text-based game with a killer storyline than the most beautifully-3D, wonderful-soundtracky, online multiplayer tic-tac-toe game.

For console games #3 is the most important for me, but with PC games I would go with #8, #4, and #5. I ranked #8 highest because I read a few reviews about a game I''m about to buy and if they think it''s a piece of shit, then chances are so will I. I don''t care much for who makes it as long as it''s a good game.
If I''m not there with a specific game in mind to buy (important to least):
5,7,3,2,2,1,6,8,4
I usually looking for something new. I hate to admit it, but the box plays a big role in my decision. I''ll look at a box for maybe 5 seconds in my hand and if it hasn''t sold itself by then, it takes a reputation to get me back. Price is another big thing. I''m more likely to take a chance that a game won''t suck if it doesn''t cost much. ($30? Heck, why not. So I don''t play VLTs this week.) Brand names affect what I look at first.
