Ok, I'm from The Netherlands.

Saw it happen on tv...

Was really weird. Was zapping through the channels a bit and then I saw some large building smoking a bit. (which turned out te be the WTC) So I grab the TV guide to look up what series or film is running. Hmm, weird should be some sleazy soap. And soaps usually don't feature smoking sky scrapers.

Then I noticed the word live in the top right. So I thought: "Looks like some big fire there." And then I saw this plane flying into the building. So I went: "WOW, WHAT THE HELL!!!"

I started zapping through the channels again and it was all over the tv, nearly every tv channel was reporting live about the attack on NYC and DC.

Was a real jaw dropping moment for me... Ans strangely I felt vulnareble. Damn, what sick mind thinks of such a think.

If you ask me, when they catch the evil assholes behind this, they can string them up by their balls and leave them to rot untill they die. And then let them hang to serve as crow fodder. Oh yeah and when the crows are done, break the remaining bones and spell a forever lasting curse on them.

It's not just the US that was hit today. Every civilized country has been hit today. Today it happened in the US. Where will it happen tomorrow? These terrorists have to be sought out and dealth with, zero tolerance!

Drizzt DoUrden: I understand.I''m totally with you.Even IF it turns out some of my Arabic brothers were responsible,I would still condemn them and hold them on trial. But the statement where you said "You bastard Palastinians!" and "For this, I hope you are wiped from existance, even the innnocent of your people.." And you''re saying that you did no harms with your words? I don''t know what kind of grudge you have against my people, but if you have something to say, then say it clearly instead of going ahead and insulting the Palestinians.

And no,I don''t want you to change your post. You live in the US after all and you have a right to speak your mind. And so do I.

I''m sorry I blew up at you like that but I don''t think it''s fair you involved the palestinians into this descussion.

I understood incorrectly when I was watching CNN and got the Isrealis and Palastinians mixed up. I have no problems with a specific group of people, but I watched them CHEER! They CHEERED for what they did... that is not a nice site.

And, animal lives are just as important as people no matter what any of you may think. If you deserve to live then so do Pidgeons, and any other animal. You should apppreciate the sight of a bird flying free, because we never will...

I know.I never said I hated animals or said anything about killing them.I LOVE animals.Prolly more than you do

But what do you mean they Cheered? Who cheered at what? In either case it''s wrong.

That''s why the people who planned this should be fed to the crows.

this is deep shit, dudes. And seriously, even though I might sound like a crappy extremist, it's all the fault of the world's leaders. I'm so sick of seeing their non-stop thirst for money and power. I'm sick of seeing people die in any country of the world, and I feel that these attacks were just the beginning of something big and BAD. People are now so sick of all the this capitalism and individualism around us, they are now making a move. I'M NOT SAYING CRASHING PLANE INTO BUILDINGS IS A GOOD THING. Just that the modern cities are all falling apart. And seeing 50,000 people die in a terrorist attack makes me as sick as talking to a 55 years-old man who lives in the street, and knowing the day after that he died because he stayed too long in the cold streets of montreal at -10 and nobody helped him IN DOWNTOWN AT NOON. The society just loves individualism and capitalism so much that it now became normal to not help others. Anyway. I just feel that this shit is not over. And my condoleances to the families/friends of those who died.

Once again, a tragedy. But still i cant quite bring myself to feeling anything.

Terrorism and murder is always bad, but i find it almost sickening how the whole "civilised" world howls in agony at the latest terrorist attack, how the media has a feast over all those corpses and how the country is busy looking for somebody to bomb in retaliation.

I feel sorry for the individuals, but the whole circus disgusts me. Nobody cried when they bombed kids in Northern Ireland, shot Basques, firebombed discos in Israel and bombed Palestinian Refugee camps. Didnt even make it into the headlines.
In Israel alone there has been enough murder in the past two months to fill the headlines five times over, but nobody seemed to care.

For the sake of whatever you believe in, i just hope that they dont start a war over this. They seem anxious enough.
I blame computer games for what happened!

(Sorry Just trying to throw in some humour here)

I don''t know if any of you realized it, but it''s 9-11
9- 11, being the day we signed a deal with Isreal and Egypt, correct? This deal was a peace treaty, I believe. Isreal could easily have wiped out all of those countries, and we stopped them? I just heard that the man who arranged this was from Afghanistan..
