I need another good series to watch, Preferably, something that's already in the second or farther season. I don't like watching tv, I always forget what was going on the week before. I'm looking for something more along the serious side, but not documentary.

I love shows like CSI, not miami or NY, and recently finished the remake of battle star galactic. I'm about to finish SGU... both those shows seem real similar and I really liked them... disappointed SGU was cancelled.

But I can get into just about anything as ong as it's not to chicky... think desperate housewives, and overly corny... think monk. And as you can probably tell... nerdy is just fine with me.

so throw me some ides.

Criminal Minds is a show about an FBI behavioral analyst unit (profilers). I suggest the original, the newer spinoff, Suspect Behavior, is much less impressive so far.

The Wire, described by many as the best show ever on television (myself included).

Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy are real good.
Babylon 5 is a pretty decent scifi show.

I find lost girl pretty entertaining. It's kind of quirky, but a good amount of really deep fantasy set in the modern world. It is only in it's first season though :/

Other than that, top gear is always good and that'll keep you busy for days.

I probably would like house, but I hate the way the main guy acts, be comes off like a pompous jerk and makes it hard for me to get through an episode, Fringe falls in the corny category for me... never heard of the event I'll put that on my list of shows to check out.

I actually have been watching that the past couple weeks, I love survivor and it comes on right after so i stick around to watch it sometimes.

Oh and I jut found a show called Caprica a prequel to BSG, has anyone watched that? is it good?

is sons of anarchy, sitcommy? ie is it like a different story every episode... I keep wanting to watch it but the preview always put me off for some reason. I can't get into B5, watch it back in the day but can't seem to make myself rewatch it.

I'm willing to start up a first season show, I just know I'll be dissapointed if I like it.. But I really liked lost when it first came out, and I just stopped watching in the second season and wait till it was over to watch it all at once. I used to do the same with dexter, until they derailed the show after season 4.

season 4 was my favourtite (if that was the john lithgow season... probably just butchered his name). After that it became a drama about a babysitting serial killer
