So something you can take away from this is that you should assume that 100% of people will never read the instructions or watch the tutorials. If your game requires instructions or tutorials it should be built into the game. In my opinion, if the game won't teach me what I need to do, then the game is not complete. I would focus on adding an in-game tutorial and dropping the attitude.

The reality of any creative endeavor is that a lot of people will not only disagree with you but they will hate your work. If you can't learn to deal with criticism and hate without exploding you will have a *very* hard time in this industry: just go read any game review for any AAA game. Remember that how people feel about a game (including you) is no different from how they feel about any other art form. It is *opinion*, not fact.

sometimes (or should I say most of the times?) things just won't work out. I have plenty of Intellectual Properties at the Library of Congress, WDC, -- not one generated one red penny! I had the best concepts (4 of them) for online security -- not one red penny. Car safety -- not one red penny. I wrote the smartest and funniest script in history -- <a name="OLE_LINK3">[size=2][size=2]www.4Letters1Tale.com[size=2] -- but since I'm no jew I never stand a chance. There is no hope in the land of no hope. There are way too many imbeciles consuming my oxygen. Believe me: There's no hope in the land of no hope

It must be such an incredible burden to be superior to us little folks in every way. How do you even get through the day?

I did read a couple pages of the "script" and it is quite painful. I'm not surprised it was passed over.
Even if the script or the "it's like game X plus game Y" video game idea didn't impress you (you moron!), perhaps you'll be delighted to feast your eyes upon the best logos ever created

Unfortunately the whole world is too stupid to realise the genius of these inventions.
Guys, fanning the fire is not a good idea. This thread is very nearly at the point where it'll have to be shut down, and you're not helping.

actually it made it on the Winners' List of an international contest and it's mentioned in Moviebytes (if u'd care to google it ...). It's just that I'm no jew, so nobody in H'wood bought it. But since you love my script so much, hey I have good news for ya: it's for sale! $5,000,000 down-payment + royalties for the rest of my miserable life and one week with Jessica Alba on an exotic island ...

Deal?

You're right. It just happened that I was so naive as to believe that a *paid* judge would actually read the Abstract and review the Tutorial. No problem, I'm so ready to grow up ...

so you googled up a bit, eh? You still missed alota things though. One sample: http://danmimis.com/WatchdogSeatCover.html

That's essentially a racial slur, and not the first in this topic -- please make it your last on these forums.

It's the end of this thread, at any rate. Closed.
