I''m intrigued. Can you explain further?

A couple people have mentioned the Nintendo Power Glove. What I havent seen mentioned is this: It was (still is I suppose) entirely possible to hook the Power Glove up to a computer. Several years ago there was a book out called "Virtual Reality Playhouse" or something similar. In the back of the book were directions on how to hook the PG to a computer. Basically, you cut the wire, got cheap serial port connector parts from an electronics store, and hooked the PG wires up to the appropriate serial connectors. I had no knowledge of electronics at the time, and I was able to get it working. Unfortunatly, the driver included w/ the book was not the best, and I dont know how to write device drivers. However, I was able to move a dot around the screen and have my x,y,z coordinates diplayed on the screen.
So, if the technology existed back then (early 90''s), Im sure something much better can be created today.
