I wanted to know where I would get a virtual reality headset for a computer or where I could find instructions on how to make one. note: I'm thinking of using a 10mega-pixel curved lcd screen.

Not a field that gets a lot of attention. VR headsets got a bit of attention for awhile, but rather died out of the limelight. 3D Visor makes a VR headset. There's also a company that makes a HUD google for skying and expanding into motorcycle helmets. One of the motherboard makers, I forget which, sells a headset for using brainwaves for input, likely a better path than headsets and gloves. Most mention is bits and pieces here and there, you pretty well have to just get creative with Google and follow links.
