The judges are busy going through all of the submissions and getting the results to me. So far, nothing I can report publicly.

Thanks!

Maybe we could sweeten the time of wait for the results with such idea:

At the East West forums competitions are organized in this way - there is a thread where all submissions go and everyone can hear them, but can't comment on those. After the deadline and some given time for the judges the results are written in another thread. Maybe we could do the same? Make a locked thread with all the entries (or edit the very first post of this topic and lock it after the entries are posted), so we all can hear the entries, but no one can comment on them? That, of course, if everyone is okay with it.
I really am looking forward to hear the other entries. :)

Cheers,
Michal

This is a good idea. I've got some tight deadlines right now, but I'll get something together so everyone can hear the submissions while waiting for results. I've heard from two of the judges so far but the others are going to get to it as soon as they can.

Thanks guys,

Nathan

Two judges so far? Ok, cool. :) Let us wait for the other judges.

Cheers,

Michal

Hey Nathan, would that be ok if I posted the entry in another (music) forum? Like EW forums?

Sure! This contest never claimed any type of ownership over any of the entries.

Thanks!

Hey guys,

Here's an update for you: I should have most (if not all) of the judge's scores and comments in the next two weeks or so. Several of them landed surprise jobs that took up more time and I completely understand as they're volunteering their free time to go over all of the submissions.

Also over the weekend I'm going to convert all of the song entries to MP3 and then use a swish program to make them into playable swf files. This way anyone on the web can hear them but will not have access to the actual song files directly. I figured most would want it set up this way to give some layer of protection to your work. When that is all done and set up I'll post a direct link here and it will open up a MP3 player with all of the entries listed.

Thanks again for taking part in this contest.

Great, waiting for update
Hey guys,

The songs are uploaded! You can open up the MP3 player here:

All songs are listed by the person's screen name then either "idle" or "combat."

Enjoy!

Thanks,

Nathan
