i wouldnt really consider it unfair, maybe more fair?
Well if it's too much trouble don't worry about it, I didn't want you to adjust anything yourself, but to just *note for my music to be turned up while playing the game.
Thanks!
I would also like to add that I hope that his volume does not detract at all from the score received from the judges - as I could not find anything that had to do with sound production (mixing and mastering) in the rules or parameters of the contest.
To be fair, I also didn't say that it would probably not be the best idea to have a master bounce that clips over and over, or to have music that is too muddy texturally with way too much low and mid ranged frequencies happening. This is the point of a contest. For me, as the coordinator of this contest, to go in and tweak a contestant's track to my liking is completely unfair to everyone else. If Casalena is truly concerned about the volume setting of his piece, resubmit a fixed version. But to ask me repeatedly to fix it for him is not only inappropriate (in regards to me being the coordinator of this contest) it is also unfair to all of the other contestants who don't receive help from me in their pieces. Will the judges count off for too low of a volume? Perhaps. Perhaps not. It's really up to them.
I'm not trying to come off rude in this post but am trying to explain the situation and why I'm choosing not to alter, tweak or edit any submissions.
Thanks,
Nathan
