Hello. I am just getting into programming by learning C++ and am very interested in game programing. I have been looking through books trying to find out what I need to know to start as well as reading reviews on this site. I came across Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus and it intriged me. Upon further it said C programing knowledge as well a some C++. Know I''m getting pretty darn far in this C++ book and dont want to start from scratch with C. So my question is if I get the book will I be able to use it without know C or should I get another book that uses C++. And could you recommend a C++ game programing book. Wow I wrote a lot. The examples in TOTWGPG are mostly written in C++ but with a C style, with a few classes thrown in for good measure. If you understand C++ well, C code should be just as easy to read.
