VRML export PHONG Material
Hello,
I'm a beginner with Maya and I don't understand a simple thing. My version of Maya is 7 and I'm trying to export a mesh to vrml2. I assign a phong material to it, and I insert some values in ambient, diffuse, and specular colors. When I export and open the vrml file with a text editor, I notice that the material contains different values! The diffuse color is similar, but often specular component and ambient component are set to zero...
Could you tell me how the mapping between the two formats is done? Do I have to set some thing? I would like to have a specular material exported but I don't know how to do it!
