I use HammerHead Rhythm Station on occasion, it can do some interesting sounds, mainly beat loops, and it's free which fits my budget nicely.

I also use Sonar Producer 6 but also use Reason 3 (currently testing Reason 4), Sound Forge 8 Pro and Acid Pro 4 in my home studio. At work I use ProTools 6 HD and Logic 6. Each program has its pros and cons and it really depends on what can work best for you, type of production you need to do (and your work flow).

For my samples I use several East Samples and also create my own samples (when needed).
