I put a PC speaker which is like this one: http://www.clearpc.ca/catalog/images/speaker.JPG on my MOBO, on the correct connectors, with the black wire where "-" should be according to the manual, and the red wire where "+" should be according to the manual. However, when I boot up the PC then, the PC speaker thingie makes a constant beeping sound, not really pure, a bit of white noise in between. I'm glad my MOBO survived this. But since this happens, I think I may be doing something wrong, but I'm sure that it are the correct connectors according to the manual. Any idea what this could mean or what there could be wrong?
