EWQL Silver...what sequencer to use?
November 29, 2006 08:31 AM
East West have VST plugins so it should work just fine with any composing tool that supports VST machines.
Many thanks to everyone for all the feedback so far! Since I'm leaning in the direction of Sibelius, does anyone have experience using it in conjunction with EWQL? If so, is it reasonably easy to program effects like legato, stacatto, and volume changes?

Hey Brian,
On a completely side note- I noticed you live in Ft Worth TX. I grew up there and now live in Plano. Very cool. I don't know how old you are- are you going to school there or work there?

Technically I live in Fort Worth. However, right across the street from the entrance to my apartment complex is a sign that says "Welcome to Arlington". For the dayjob I work just north of downtown Dallas. I'm 26, and I was in school until about half a year ago. I was working at a bookstore in the music department, which had flexible enough hours to go to school for music classes part time. Then I got the office job, which is Monday through Friday, so that excludes school. But considering the increase in pay, I said to hell with school for now, I'll continue to study harmony and composition on my own.
