Reason 3.0 and "loops"
Hi, I recently have Reason 3.0, but the noob question, is how do i make it so it can play "loop" files that are .wav, and .mp3 that i used in acid 5.0. I only seem to be able to play the refills and instruments, but when i goto my LOOPS folder, i cant play anything it doesnt show up in the browser, its like i cant play my old loops, please help, ty.

DarkMortar-
I hope you like Reason 3, I really do. About the looping question- have you considered posting this on the actual Reason forums? Perhaps you'll get good responses there.
I can tell you how to use Reason with another sequencer and Acid, but have never tried to open up my actual Acid loops in Reason. I don't use loops very often in my compositions. Here is how you can use Reason as a plugin (along with Acid) and then you can add all kinds of Reason sounds to your Acid compositions.
I use Sonar but this will work with the other mainstream sequencer programs. I open up Sonar first and then go to "insert" and highlight Rewire which brings up a list of the VSTs I have on my computer. Select Reason and it will open up the program as well. ***Running these programs at the same time can eat up some CPU power so make sure you have enough under the hood*** Reason opens up and then you can take several steps for loading in Acid. I usually have everything done in Acid and capture it to audio, so I can just import audio and that is taken care of. I'm not sure if you can use Acid as a plugin with Sonar. I'm at work- so I can't check but can later tonight. Having done all of that- I have the audio from Acid already mixed in and the ability to add things using Reason- and Sonar acts as the master program.
Now- if your question is how do I take the loops I've made in Acid and convert them into Reason sounds....I'm not sure if that is possible.
Hope I helped some!
